Oh, it has been too long since I’ve posted a review. But this one seemed to leap from my fingers, so posting I am.

Goodness it's been a long time. But what better way to come back than to share my appreciation for friends. Check out the love meme  eponine119 has started. 

I may not be here as often as I'd like, but I do appreciate my friends most profoundly. What an amazing group of people you are!

I am appealing to my musically savvy friends here, as whatever is newer seems to be something I happen upon accidentally. I am trying to put together a collection of love-ish songs that promote, believe in, discuss, mention the idea of second chances. Of the possibility of love when the hope for it has all but gone. Corny, maybe, but if anyone can make some recs, I would much appreciate it, as I seem to be stuck somewhere in the '80s, maybe early '90s.

Well it's certainly been a month, I can say, reflecting back on it on the eve of the last day of said month.

I have painted my house bright orange, Mango Melt, with red trim and yellow accents and a blue door the color of hope.

Goodness, I feel as if I have fallen off the LJ planet and I miss everybody!!!
Finally just getting back in here and figured it was time to update a little bit, and try to catch up with everyone.

I met the wonderful, beautiful zelda_zee who is here in zenana7Land, lucky me. Tres cool to meet someone you know so well through cyberwaves -- was nervous, as I said, but click in the air and in RL. Whew, fortunately!

Has anyone else met friends in person? Interesting concept from the hidden world of cyberspace to reality, unexpected and fun. Had lunch together, dinner another day, saw a play...

Zelda here - I'm here in Zen's study (and yes, her desk is as messy as she claims) and we are checking our flists and hanging out & talking Lost slash & fic writing 'n stuff, which is a bit weird b/c neither of are really accustomed to talking about it OUT LOUD, like forming the words and actually uttering them. But it's all good, and turns out we have lots of other things we can talk about too! Whaddya know? So we went to lunch, and then to a farmer's market and to a play & have had lots (tho not enuf) quality Z & Z time - oh, and Zen got to meet Mr. Z as well. Tomorrow I leave for Vermont & will be sad to go, but will see her again in my hometown in the not-too-distant future.
